The Ashford by éS is a great chiller. Though hard to find, it’s got a slim profile and the stamped éS logo on the perforated leather on the upper is a great little touch.

The Lands of Lore Series from Habitat is another great series showcasing the bold 2D graphics for which they are so well known. I especially like the Danny Garcia mask and the Brian Wenning Sherwood Forrest graphics.

The Emerica Ridgemont is a nice little slip-on that’s been around for a few seasons. They usually do a few simple colorways and one or two freaky ones. I posted the FOS colorway before. These New Ridgemonts glow in the dark.

One of the most iconic deck series of all time (for me at least), is the Modern Series by Tony Larson for Girl. Rick Howard’s Eiffel Chair is my favorite, only because I dream of a house full of them in all sorts of colors. Someday perhaps. How you would ever find this complete set, I have no idea. But if I walked into someone’s house and these were hanging on the wall, that person would be my hero.

In my great love for all things Wrench Pilot by Girl Skateboards artdumper Andy Jenkins a.k.a. Mel Bend, I present to you the Lettus Bee Vinyl Figure. Limited to 500 worldwide, so scoop it up quick.

Fishegg Films recently released Stuntwood – The Birth, Life and Death of a Skateboard. If the trailer is any indication of the documentary, it looks like a great diversion from regular skate videos. It’s always interesting to see the stories associated with skateboarding. I liked ON Video because they always had the side articles that explained the history of things like the Carlsbad High gap, etc.
Anyways, check out the trailer and learn something about skating and how that chunk of maple gets under your feet.

I have been riding Habitat decks for a few years now. I like that they are an east coast company. And their graphics have always been very nice. They have recently taken more inspiration from actual images of flora and fauna as opposed to iconic representations of those flora and fauna. And the Danny Garcia shapes flip around really well for me.
They recently released a Bamboo Panorama Series which uses 15% bamboo (1-ply of 7) in addition to the traditional hardrock maple construction. Bamboo is a very sustainable resource because of its rapid growth cycle. They also offer a hemp-ply construction which uses a hemp fiber layer to reinforce the maple construction.

Check out the Day of The Dead Series over at Chocolate Skateboards. Even skeletons like to have fun.
The Believe graphic is a classic from the 90′s, and definitely one of the most memorable from when I was growing up. I a mustard colored XL t-shirt of it back in the day. Alien Workshop recently re-released the graphic as an Omar Salazar pro graphic.

The AV Era is Anthony Van Englen’s (AVE) first pro shoe at Vans. I like the super simple styling and the no-stitch toe box. And you can’t go wrong with paisley, right?
