Rheanna Lingham – Knot Necklace

How beautiful is this Knot Necklace by Rheanna Lingham? I can’t tell for sure from the photo, but I think that the knot is made from metal rather than rope. I kind of wish it were actually made from rope, but this is lovely, too!

Pick A Jewel by Fift

Here’s a piece of jewelry I wish I’d come up with: Pick A Jewel by fift. The earrings and necklace are simply alligator clips that you attach your own precious objects to, to create a piece of jewelry.

We will be taking next tomorrow and all of next week off for the holidays. Thanks so much for reading Sub-Studio over the past year – Merry Christmas to all of you who are celebrating and a happy new year to all!

Brevity – Lines Collection

I’m super excited to announce a project I’ve been working on for a while now – a new jewelry collection by Brevity, called Lines! The pieces are inspired by the simple elegance of a line. Lines features 21 different necklace styles ranging in price from $30 to $60, and six new earring styles.

A few of the earring styles:

Hanna Hedman – Human Tree

Hanna Hedman’s latest collection of jewelry, Human Tree, doesn’t disappoint – wearable art, this time inspired by pieces of human anatomy.

Silva/Bradshaw

So many great jewelry designers have come across my inbox lately…Spotted these amazing Shift rings by Silva/Bradshaw today in Daily Candy…Love the vibrant colors and metals and the way the rings look stacked! The nylon (colored) rings are pretty affordable – $25/ring.

Denise Julia Reytan

It’s not my style to wear jewelry like this, but I love it. I love the collage of materials that Denise Julia Reytan uses in her collection, and the bold colors. Her own words about her work:

“For me, my necklaces are like poems on the body. Colours and shapes forming sentences and signs, objects playing and communicating together and merge with the wearer into a breathtaking painting.”
