Louis Glanzman

A small collection of Louis Glanzman is over on leifpeng’s flickr. It’s part of a mammoth set of work by classic illustrators. It’s a great resource for a ton of amazing work.

Cheshire Cat T-Shirt

The Cheshire Cat t-shirt uses UV ink and glow-in-the-dark ink to make three shirts out of one graphic. I think it’s a pretty smart way to combine the printing tech. And the big cheshire grin makes me snicker. As an extra bonus, the shirt was designed by a high school(!) kid named Skylar. Way to go for Threadless for making design more democratic and accessible to all ages of designers.

Christoph Niemann – Unpopular Science

A hilarious set of illustrations by Christoph Niemann at the NYT – Unpopular Science – explaining science through examples from Christoph’s everyday life with a family in NYC.

Toy Machine – Sect Eye

I like these Sect Eye boards from Toy Machine. Or maybe I’ve just been brainwashed.

Patrick Hruby

Patrick Hruby makes some nice overprint designs. Check out his portfolio and his blog.

Drawing ARCHITECTURE

Looking for some inspiration for your representation woes? Check out Drawing ARCHITECTURE for a varied look at all sorts of drawings – axons, collages, sketches, superdrawings, etc. I thought this one by Justine Bell was extra nice.
