We’re a little late with our gift guide this year, but here is the start of it, for your shopping pleasure! Thanks so much to everyone who sent in submissions – it was great to see what you’re working on/looking at these days.

We had so much fun last year arranging our gift guide by color, that we decided to do it again, and this time around we added several new colors. Additionally, most of our suggestions are under $100, with the exception of those denoted with an asterisk. Enjoy!

We’re busy compiling our gift guide for this year, which should start any day now…But we wanted to reach out to our very talented pool of readers to ask for submissions to our gift guide. We’re looking for newish work (within the last year, preferably) that is affordable. Although, if you have a product that is so amazing awesome that the price tag doesn’t matter, send that on over, too. Oh – it should obviously be buyable online, too. I realize this is a pretty last minute call for submissions – our apologies!

This is perhaps one of the coolest advent calendars that I’ve come across…and you could totally make your own very easily. From Present&Correct:

“Each day from 1st-24th December we will put just one of these special boxes on the shelves. Once it’s gone it’s gone! Until the next day when we do it all over again. Each wrapped box contains a notebook, vintage domino, pencil & a clip.. plus a variety of paper shapes, labels & whatever else takes our fancy. Don’t worry, we only put lovely things in them! Thanks to all our readers for a great 2008! We’ll be taking a few days off for Christmas (back on the 29th). It has been a banner year for us and we hope to keep it going in 2009. We want to know what you think, so comment with your thoughts, suggestions and requests too. Thanks for all your support and we hope you enjoy the holidays!

Alright – I know clear isn’t really a color, but it should be! This is the last of our gift guide installments…There lots of great designers out there making affordable goods (with a few exceptions!).
