Alex Randall’s bespoke light fixtures are both a little grotesque and beautiful. Alex is best known for her use of unconventional materials in large-scale sculpture and chandeliers, such as taxidermy, rawhide and salvaged materials.

I loved the lighting – until I read the word taxidermy. I’m hoping the birds, squirrels etc. are immitation and not the real deal. Assuming they are sulptural images, the pieces are both functional, beautiful, and quirky. If the pieces are from real animal life, then one word will suffice – gross!
