New print release: We are excited to be pairing this week with Brooklyn artist Elisabeth Timpone to bring you her print, Balancing Act, to benefit Action for Healthy Kids. In this print Elisabeth uses lines and simple forms to exemplify the beauty of nature. I love the dual imagery of motherhood. The not yet born offspring protected within their mother and the three young pups cradled above her. The print also resonates with the art historian in me, building on themes from older native cultures, something other viewers of her work have also noticed:
Often compared to Native American art and topographical maps, her work whispers stories of the forest where animals live to play and fight to survive in a world that demands balance, respect and love from all who call it home.
This print is available in multiple sizes. It was digitally signed by the artist. The 8×10 and 11×14 prints are numbered by The Working Proof, and the 20×16 prints come with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Learn more here.
