Ricardo Garza Marcos – Chaise Cuatro

The Chaise Cuatro by Ricardo Garza Marcos is a lovely chair inspired by the 1956 Eames Lounge Chair. The frame is made from three bent plywood pieces which hold a set of leather cushions. Beautiful!

Each bent piece is made of 28 thin layers of veneer glued together inside the molds and are let to dry for almost two weeks each before they are de-molded. Once this process is complete the final veneer is applied (in this case walnut).
