The Edgewood Cup is a series of porcelain cups with wood grain imprints. I like the mixture of natural and manmade.

is this 3d printed ceramics?
The cup is slip cast from a mold that came from a sand blasted piece of wood.

This is not made from slip casting a sandblasted piece of wood. Its made from slip casting a rapid prototype of a digital model. This model printed vertically in layers, as evident by the many many horizontal lines.
I am the creator of this product. They are left over marks from sanding on the lathe. The cups now have been perfected in order to get rid of this.
Thank you,
