A bank is a place where they lend you an umbrella in fair weather and ask for it back when it begins to rain.

Studio Mumbai

The Palmyra House, designed by Studio Mumbai, is a gorgeous house sited on a working coconut plantation in Alibaug, India. The Palmyra tree is prevalent in the region, and was used by Studio Mumbai in much of the construction of the home. The house consists of two buildings, separated by a pool and an open court. Made out of Palymra louvers, the facade can be both open and airy or closed for more privacy and protection.
